In 2022, China Maritime Arbitration Commission (“CMAC”) set up its new branch’ the Northeast Asia International Arbitration Center‘in Dalian, Liaoning Province, P.R.China. It’s a fundamental step to moving forward with a expanded service network and strategic local parternship. As always, the Northeast Asia International Arbitration Center is innovation-oriented with a heightened focus upon the the credibility with the users. We are international in nature while closely keep our eyes to the local industries. Efforts will be made to broaden our offerings, such as the CMAC standard shipping contracts and legal trainings on international arbitration. We always insist that CMAC should be part of a bigger picture. This new branch will keep us more relevant to the northeast Asia, a fast growing economy demanding for more efficient ADR services and complement Dalian’s urban function as a major shipping hub.
China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC) Model Clause (Ⅰ)
Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Contract shall be submitted to China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC) for arbitration which shall be conducted in accordance with the CMAC’s arbitration rules in effect at the time of applying for arbitration. The arbitral award is final and binding upon both parties.
